Alot of those Korean players are hardcore gamers that just eat, drink, and breath "Guild Wars".

Or, maybe those Korean written names are intimidating you.

Seriously, maybe it does have something to do with communication and speaking a different language. Their language is more direct and has fewer words than the English language. Most if not all asian languages do not have very many words that separate gender (like HE or SHE), thats why my wife mixes up her HE's and SHE's all the time when speaking english, and she has lived in America for 17 years (originally from the philippines).

you can stop the hacks, and cheats talk to try to make yourselves feel better because you LOST to someone BETTER THAN YOU

why are people so fast to yell he/she cheated rather than admitting they may have simply been beaten by a better team.

Don't bash the asians, you just SUCK.

Thank you.

Ehhh in tagalog or the language of the Phillippines.

Girl- babae
Guy- lalaki

Your wife speaks english and tagalog cause thats how MANY filipinos talk. After the Spanish took over the Phillippines and than the U.S took it over. Many american born or moved to america tend to blend english and tagalog.

yes, after 12 years of marriage I'm aware of this.

In the Philippines there are some 87 Austronesian languages. The five largest, Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Hiligaynon and Bicolano account for three-quarters of the population.

Edit: Hopefully with factions we can actually do away with competition between real life countries. It's not healthy for American PvPr's to feel hatred for Korea or Europe when they have favor.

You might want to be more specific when you make these threads.
I'm asian, does that mean my team'll always "kill" you?
Will the match be different if I tell you I'm asian whereas I don't?
Seriously, try to be more specific. Not just "Asians." Not everybody in the American servers are American/Canadian. =P
And don't resort to saying that they/we hack. That's just being a sore loser. If they are hacking, Anet will catch them eventually.

maybe the first 5-6 rounds A-net sets you vs American districts. then if you keep winning you move to different districts. and in those districts they are more exp than you or run a build you're unfamiliar with. iono, but that might be how it works

You're losing because we're/they're using a skill that was taught secretly at a young age in our school systems. Dare I describe it to you?

Quote:
"aZns 4 teH WiNzoRz lAwL" (5en, 30s recharge)
Elite Shout. For 3...60 seconds, you and your allies gain +2...12 Gaming Ability and attack 50% faster. Foes in the area: lose all adrenaline, are easily interrupted, cannot avoid attacks and are sent into a state of total disarray. The gain in Gaming Ability that you recieve is doubled when facing non-Asian teams and halved when facing other Asian teams. (50% failure chance with Rice Eating 8 or less.) (Attrib: Rice Eating)
...on a serious note, the Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese RA/TA groups are coordinated (or as coordinated as one could be with a random group). And on another note, there are lots of Asian wammos using the template warrior character...easy killing.

I don't get why people in RA freak out when the other team has people with bits and pieces of moon language in their names...

asian players seem to kill you all the time because they have more experience than you do. once i started getting around and understanding how my profession's skills worked, and how to use them, they didn't seem so intimidating to me as they used to. they're human, just like you are. and they're definitely not immortal.

on a side note, you shouldn't be having as much trouble with the Taiwanese and the Japanese as you do with Koreans. they're relatively new to the game, and thanks to them my faction rate has been rising exponentially.

You just lost to a good team. Those 5-6 consecutives were likely against bad American teams, which are more plentiful.

If you have ever played the game Starcraft by Blizzard, you should very well know that Koreans make professions out of gaming therefore you should not be so amazed that they can beat you like that.

Hey and just like humans, they make errors too, like forgetting to bring interupts or shatter enchants.....
I managed to sit in a 4v4 match for 43 mins and 17 secs that quickly turned into 1v4. I forgot to bring a rez so i sat it out until 3 left and i ended up killing one.

There was an article on Gamespy a few months ago about Koreans owning all; it referenced Guild Wars directly.

Uhp... just found it. This article should tell you why you are losing. There's interesting bits on cultural differences, and fanaticism (to us atleast).

http://www.gamespy.com/articles/610/610639p1.html

Keep in mind, Asians are more community and interedependent oriented. Westerners (us cowboys) are more independent minded.

As someone else mentioned, though it sounds obvious, winning or losing badly depends very much on who u play with and WILL distort your own perception of how good you think you are- speaking as a counter-strike player.

On another note, they probably worked out what to do at each second of the match, and at every circumstance to the letter.

Try 'training' to the same extent and see how it goes.
